Find Out More About Scouting

Our aim is to help you find the information you are looking for from the links included in this section.

If you are an adult interested in volunteering we suggest you download our volunteering leaflet first, and then register your interest here

If you wish to find out more about Scouting for young people, then click on the link below for the appropriate age range. There are 5 age ranges in Scouting

Register a young person who is interested in joining Scouting, and we will contact you within 10 days.

If you register and do not hear from us within 10 days, then send an email to me and I guarantee somebody will contact you within the next 7 days.

View where our Scout Groups meet here. We are also interested in creating Scouting opportunities for young people in other areas of the City - but we do need the support of adult volunteers to open new Groups

Working Towards Our Vision

Every child has the right to an ADVENTURE

If you are an individual who is interested in sponsoring Scouting download our sponsorship leaflet.

There are hundreds of children living in inner city areas of Nottingham that are deprived of their right to adventure as they simply cannot afford it. Make a difference by sponsoring inner city Scouting in Nottingham by paying a minimum of £5 per month to our hardship fund which will ensure no children are deprived of their adventure due to financial hardship FAQs

Diversity

We are looking at working with communities to make Scouting available to all young people. We are currently in discussions with the Muslim community with a view to starting a new Scout Group at Bobbers Mill, and helping run one of our Groups in Wollaton

If your community are interested in working with us in creating more opportunities for young people, then email us.

Radford Primary School

Radford Investitures

We are working with the school in providing Scouting to the young people of Radford. This is a example of the Scouts working with another organisation to ensure the young people get the adventure they deserve at an affordable cost within the community
